Joe trained as an editor at the BBC working on Arts programmes (Omnibus, Arena and The Late Show) and Dramas (The Riff-Raff Element and Hancock). After attending the BBC’s directing course, Joe took part in the first ever multi-skilling series How Buildings Learn. Joe’s freelance editor credits include Omnibus - William Blake, The Real Michael Caine and Timewatch -The Gulag Archipelago. Producer/ Director credits include the history series Time Trail, Secrets of the Screen with David Attenborough and James Galway, A Journey into Jazz. In 2009, Joe produced and directed Bedlam – The History of Bethlem Hospital for the History Channel and the Wellcome Trust.
